Thousands of people arrived at Epcot at 5am in 35 degree weather to run 13.1 miles. The following day was the full marathon, 26.2 miles, and many people ran both races back-to-back. Arnie said we were all a bunch of crazy people. Total registration: 14,000 participants for the full marathon and 16,000 for the half. It's hard to explain until you've run one, but it's a lot of fun and strangely addictive. I ran my fastest time ever, crossing the finish line at 1:50:17, roughly 8:24 per mile. Yay! And congrats to everyone finishing their first half marathon: Ali M, Debbie, Holly, Sook, Jill, Ali S, and Carolina! It's quite an accomplishment and it's important not to push yourself too hard. I know it's a couple months late, but Thanksgiving pics were finally added. No pics of Robert though, as he was taking all the pictures.
